Texas Rt 66 Vintage RV Show

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of Route 66, we invite you to explore the history of the “Mother Road” through a special showcase of vintage recreational vehicles (RVs) at the Amarillo Texas Travel Information Center.

From the earliest days, travelers crossed the Texas High Plains in horse‑drawn wagons while cowboys ate meals from their trusty chuck wagons. As motor vehicles arrived, American travel was transformed. Families began taking to the open road with tents, campers, and an ever‑growing variety of travel trailers—bringing their own accommodations as they explored the highways of the nation.

Join us as we highlight this rich legacy of mobility and adventure, celebrating a century of travel along one of America’s most iconic roadways by hosting a variety of vintage vehicles and trailers on our 13-acre property.
